Thanks labooshak for that reminder about the titles - that is why I do try and take BBB out of the title when I remember. Interviews without CK - my first answer "I don't remember", followed by "It's going to depend on many aspects of your application - including when you have it* scheduled" *It being the CK exam

I know many people who have got IV's without the step 2 ck score...but obviously the rest of your app has to be very strong, especially the step 1 score...

docnit, that is a strong application, of course you didn't mention what might be the most important issue, whether you are a citizen/green card holder or you need a visa, don't underestimate how important that is....

is it true that pediatrics is less competitive than others? i read somewhere that 42% of IM seats are occupied by imgs and only 24% is occupied by imgs for pediatrics ( IM seats are double than peds seats though) so isnt it equally competitive ?? then why do people say peds is easier than IM ..though definately i wish it is true

You also didn't mention whether you passed CS, if you did, I would apply and give Step 2 as soon as possible, making sure I have my result by interviews if possible...you have a strong application and yes, 95 is considered an excellent score....

Paediatrics has become a little more competitive in recent years but you have to understand the reason it might still be less competitive than IM is about 10 times more FMG's apply for IM compared to paediatrics...
