1- sodium in hyperglycemic hyperosmolar state 1.6-2.4 add to measured Na level for each 100 gr of plasma Glu more than 100 e.g = Na=126 , Glu=600 corrected Na = 126 + 5*2=136 2- potassium in DKA or acidosis As far as I know it is not that much clear-cut , it has a special diagram that you can estimate it , But practically it is not used in ER., 3-calcium in hypoalbuminemia? For every 1 reduction of Alb below 4 , add 0.8 to serum Ca e.g : Alb=2 , Ca =8.5 corrected Ca= 8.5+ 2*0.8=10.1

These are estimations, so nothing is 100% correct 1. Corrected K = K+ (mmol/L) - 0.6 (7.4-pH) every 0.1 change in pH results in 06 mmol/L change in K+ 2. My source for Na is 1.3 to 1.6 mmol/L change in Na for every 100 Glucose above 100mg/dL Goob job, man
