Hi everyone,

I think it's not too early to start a IV thread now. I know we have a wonderful Neuro match 2009 thread going on. But I think keeping IV/Rej thread apart would make it more organised and will make it easy for anyone to search it in the future.

Hope our IV thread goes longer than Rej thread nod

Still 4 days to go..
I don't want to set the targets too high. It's too early for Neuro progs to send IVs. Yet, one from any prog for anyone of us wouldn't be bad at all for the week nod

hey deja vu, just a random question about ecfmg certification...my oasis says my documents have reached and verification is pending,,...and i called today...coz im kinda wanting to give step3 later this year...and the lady who attended the phone after 10 mins of waiting told me my documents havent reached...i was shocked!!!..i mean is that actually possible...? confused

pm1984,

From what you wrote, I am worried about you. I suggest to call them again. tell them the date when your school sent the documents and (if possible) when they reached to ECFMG. Also tell them that if it's showing on OASIS and you;re telling that the documents haven't yet reached there, I would like to talk to someone else who can explain the situation to me. You'll have to be extremely active with this. Dont just wait. Try hard to make things happen.

i heard nebraska is giving out phone interviews..i havent applied there but i thot i'd let u guys know that its begun....... smiling face

thanks...deja vu...i guess id call them again..though i was thinking that maybe she was mistaken...since oasis was updated the very day my docs reached...ill call again...

Hi ganesha, you are right. I just had a call from a friend saying that he received an e-mail from Nebraska. Yes, it was IV. So it's started. I didnt hear anything from them. yesterday I made a list of "Golden16"- the 16 places where I feel I stand the best chance and expect atleast 6-7 IVs from them. Guess waht. UNebraska was in there. I hope those 16 turns out to be golden.

Hey Guys.. well I got an IV from Uni of Nebraska/Creighton Uni.. anybody joining me there?? N I must tell that it feels gr8 to get that 1st IV ...I must have reread tht email dozens of times!! wish u all continued good luck... grin

Welcome Dang!! yes I am gonna join you to Neb. please book my flight as well if you're booking yours. (I'll pay you back if I get IV there otherwise will go there to give you company and will have good time). Seems like our golden 16 is treating you well. I checked my email atleast a dozen of times just to make sure that I was not missing the bold letters of unread message. by the way i suspect that they have read the '009' in my email adress as 'oo9' wink

Well thanks to all of you for your wishes...Well this is an advance program and I am not sure if they help in securing a prelim. Will talk to them about it.. this should be my first interview so I am just looking forward to sharpen my interview skills n get a feel of the IV process!! grin
