Hello everyone,
How r u all ??
I'm done with my step 1 & 2Ck but got Visa Denial Twice in the US Embassy, and I think a lot of u can be in the same situation specially in the middle east region or u might be done with everything but u didn't got matched, didn't even got any interview .. So, i thought we should start a topic talking about Plan - B .. Practicing Medicine in the States is not the end of the world, and we can't pend our life waiting for this sole opportunity, we gotta have another backup plan , Hence this topic ..
I recently got to know that New Zealand Accept Drs with Step1 & 2 Ck and ask them to set for an exam. titled NZREX clinical which is an OSCE type exam and substitutes for the CS .. After that u got registered there as a GP and start working directly as a Houseofficer for a yr where u've to complete 4 runs each consists of 3 months in the different specialities, after that u complete ur registration process and start applying for speciality training positions ... U travel for the Clinical test on a Visitor Visa but when u get a job u travel on an immigrant Visa .. which is a good thing ... So, if anyone interested, we can start working it out bit by bit together .....

Thanks for sharing this info, Mezo! It sure will help some of us who are having a hard time with USMLE. By the way, I read somewhere that one visa applicant was denied four times, and got approved only in his 5th try. Maybe the same can happen to you, so consider that. Goodluck!

actually I'm very interested Mezo, but still have step-1 to go.....,
I'm even thinking of taking this way even if I got high score in the steps,...americs doesn't look much as a dream for me, I'm just looking for the better quality of life and better medicine where ever it is.....
may be I'll catch you soon in this  ..

It is about 3000 NZ $ .. yeh it is costy ... but think of it as an investment in urself .. u gotta have some risk
