better if post invitation/rejections in psychiatry match 2009.becoz psychiatry match 2009 has been made sticky by mods.so posting such things in tht thread will help future applicants in 2010 match

thats sad.uvm is high headed program.they need at least 6 months psych exp in us, or residency in psych in home country, 3 us lor's..thats asking too much

Oh and i think MODS should clarify if we need saperate thread for IV'S /rejections or should we post our iv's and rejections in psychiatry 2009 match.my opinion :saperate thread and make it sticky.

My first message in myERAS...
Polite rejection from Texas A & M Scott and White (I knew better..tsk tsk). A slight blow to the ego but it was exciting just to have received a message in myERAS.

IMG/80/76/pass/GC/2003 grad/2 months IM observership in non teaching hospital/3 mo fm observership in private clinic /3 months of medical assistant in cardio/3 months psychiatry externship in inpatient units/currently working as mental health counseller...applied to 55 psych and 30 FM.considering to apply to 20 more of psych programs

dono worry.emory always send invitation to high scorers
i have heard too many rejection from texas a&m...seems to be img unfriendly.and thanks God i have not applied to emory and a&m both

mod will not have problem with this thread.my point is tht psych match 2009 is sticky thread so it will stay up and next yr match applicant can get benefit too.but this thread will be lost
