  1. To destroy nerves in interactable pain or sympathectomy
  2. To treat "alcohol " poisoning for methanol or ethylene glycol ,we use ethanol
  3. To handle alcohol withdrawal

Are you looking for amelioration of symptoms in familial tremors, this not treatment just a hint that these tremors are familial like

Ampicillin rash in the IM

Pain in lymph-nodes with use of alcohol in the patient of Hodgekin's lymphoma

Benign essential tremor is a clinical diagnosis and causes the patient to have intention tremors that worsen when reaching for an object. Head bobbing is characteristic and is not seen in patients who have Parkinson disease. Treatment options include alcohol, propranolol. and primidone.
