I filled my online application on the 17th of August,ECFMG sent me a mail that it has been received and I sent the remaining application package on 19th August,up until now I have not heard from them.I have checked my processing status and it says "In Process". Please, do you think something is wrong with my application? My friend applied on 7th May and got his scheduling permit on 13th May i.e 6 days after application but I am worried because mine has taken 14 days. Please ,I need advice ,should I call them or should I wait till after 3 weeks?

You should contact (email or call) them to make sure there isn't something that holds off your application. I received a letter from them before applying for CS, saying that they need my diploma in the original language (I sent them the one in English months ago). It sounds a little bit ridiculous but that was the reason for delay of application. I asked them why they didn't ask for that when I applied for step 1. They said they just let me sit for it w/o complete credentials and expected me to send the diploma in afterwards. Anyway, after I faxed my diploma to them, they approved my application in 3 days. So my suggestion is to contact them ASAP.
