why its important to apply early?

Why its importatnt to apply on the first day of the Match? How much different it makes if you are late for just a couple of days?

instead of Sep2nd, apply on Sep 5th?

Would appriciate any feedback,

Leila, that's not important... Apply at your convenience of the 5th, and you'll be OK... Just make sure your application is as complete as possible...

I had the same q.I have to take my canadian exam/ OSCE, so after reading your people i am thinking about delaying application till 5 or 6th sept. I would appreciate if any one has different opinion and let us know why.

There are so many differing opinions on us...I agree with people who say the difference is minimal, but there are some who seem ready to apply exactly at 8 AM EST on sept 2nd thinking their app will be looked at first...

My husband applied for radiation oncology at the end of Sep and still got interviews from Mass General, MD Anderson... It means that some PDs (maybe most PDs) still download files at that time.
