To all seniors and experienced members
Kindly help me. I have scored 67 % in USMLE WORLD. In free USMLE CD question, my expected score is 224( as predicted by one website ) .USMLE WORLD SIM 201, 3 months before my exam.At that time NBME 5 score was 380. But when I have given NBME form 3 few days before my actual exam, it was 390. I have worked with all my efforts and i was surprised to see that I got only 10 points in these three months.This has created great anxiety to me. But even then also I have given my step 1. But after giving the exam , I am more tensed. God knows what will happen. I have also missed one question also in my first block. Time was like when I was coming at last question then only one or two minutes used to be left.
Kindly tell me will I get a good score or not?Will I pass or not ?

It is a worry.
I could only get 53% in UW. and nbme 1 460
I think to get the mean one needs about 58% in UW.
I found all my assessment varied by 10% anyway.
A very good way of checking nbme, is looking at the
bar graphs. if they are all narrow in the borderline range you are
in trouble. But if the bars are very wide indicating a wide range
of ability you should be ok.
The best correlation on usmle cd I have seen is from wikitestprep
check your correlation again for some reassurance.

Yes nbme r killers they estimate very appropriate my amazement is also this why nbme s are such adifficult qbank , i felt in nbme they r looking for basic than any thing else not just knowing the material.i think the best way to preppare for those nbme is know Uw explanantion i mean all the explanantion thoroughly and doing questions ...i think u will be ok ...dont worry u have already done with step1 just wait for ur good score

your best uw correlation is cumulative score for fresh qs, first time thru.
How did you manage to get 67% and score so low on nbme , it is not possible.
Having said that, your assesmts closer to exam should be more accurate.
If you got 67% uw you should have felt that exam was very easy. If not
I probably think you will get an average of all your assessmts . I am thinking
my score will be my average of all assessmts plus or minus 5% depending on how stressed I was and my mix of qs.
Sorry its not telling you much but I am just killing time waiting for my results
as well.

Exam was like dream .Time was like last question and 10 seconds left in each. No time for second thought or thought processing of questions. Questions were coming and I am giving answer. Not sure about the result.
Lets pray for best. UW questions were very easy as comparison to real exam. When you have given the exam ? Do they email the score ? When should i expect the result ?

3 Wednesdays for results. three weeks, results out on wed. usually get email that results are ready.
I thought uw was consistently tough. step 1 so many giveaways, and the hardest qs in test like
UW. Facts are facts, so reality is true score. I did my last assessmt 2 weeks before test, you
have to be pretty game to do assessmt so close to exam since it does not give you time
to study your weak areas or to take another nbme to make sure.
I felt step 1 qs were longer to read and probably some clinical qs, felt like step 2 at times.
Yes the exam is vague most of time, so hard to judge how it went, if you get 70% qs right in exam you are still getting 100qs wrong so it probably feels difficult for everyone.
The waiting is getting to me.

My Exam date was 27 th Aug. Now third wednesday is going to be 17 th Sep .
do i expect my result today ? or i have to wait longer. Praying the God . Gray when did u give the exam ? did u get the score ?
