As we all know,keeping a journal is a really helpful tool to keep ourselves going, to know how far we have reached,and a great place to get support from everyone whom you share a battle with.I have graduated 5 months back,worked for 3 months..and now seriously considering to triumph this exam on nov 6th.
I have done my first read of kaplan,but some i did lazily and most of which i dont remember a thing.I am a fast reader but unable to retain well and a very bad one in repitition,easily distracted and unable to sit for long hours
I am doing Pathology right now,endocrine part from goljan,listening to audios and reading his RR.Hoping to finish my first read of goljan by 31st.
And thanks be to God now i could start studying again,i was sick for three weeks,was hospitalised  ,came out from hospital last week..and now i am up and ready again Friends and relatives have been shooting up prayers to heaven in the name of my Lord Jesus, thanks be to them now here i am..And to honour the Lord's blessed Sabbath,i am not going to study from friday sunset to saturday sunset.Will be spending time in church and with my dear friends during the precious 24 hours.Miss my family..am away in a city,haven't seen them for almost a year.Missing someone too ..already..
Ok back to study,regarding my routine,i am not going to be so hard on myself...but planning to study as much as i can,and hoping to surprise everyone with my scores,as i was an average student all through my med school.

Today i will be doing: 3 hours of goljan audio (endocrine,have to continue what i could not finish yesterday and musculoskeletal) and read RR..no questions.
I have till sunset to study..tonight will be taking rest..and sleeeeeeping.

Thanks,dowjunk and doc 123 for coming by and for the good wishes..but sad to say that i have not been studying..i had gone out on saturday night to a gospel concert where my friends were singing, it was a totally overwhelming experience where hundreds of youth groups worship together and singing praises to the Lord! Yesterday was my friend's birthday, so enjoyed again till late at night and stayed at their place.So i am back now at my place trying to restart myself again.
By the way, i watched Barack Obama's Democratic nomination speech over the net on friday and i am not ashamed to say that i cried watching it. This man is really a true example of hope, i guess he can inspire anyone including someone not only outside his country but from the opposite side of the world.

Gosh i am sooo slow.Could not do path FA yesterday because i brain became completely saturated due to no reason.
Today did embryology from kaplan and FA.
Will try to read some neuroanat now before i sleep.
Exam is two months from now and i need to study very very smart.

Yesterday i was listening to some videos and i became quite anxious in the evening..heart beatin faster,thought of exam time, could not concentrate on the book in front of me.etc.Had to cool it off by listening to some songs,talked to fiance and chatted with him for some time,talked about some things other than exam,and then finally became alright.Whew!

Whew! I am so happy i could finish my portion for today
Started with uworld,and had my first test.
Behav.Sc. All questions.Timed mode..scored 64%
Am not sure how good,or bad, is this score.Next time i think i will do it untimed because i got distracted looking at the time so many times in between qs.But maybe it will be good because thats what we'l do in the real test. Tired now so i will be sleeping now,and read the review tomorrow.

and 64 timed not that bad,once,one of my good friend told me do 1st 1500 tutor mode mixed then rest 500 timed to have better idea for exam.with very last 336 qn like final exam in 7 hours. and aim >60% to have 90+ score.although nowadays ppl scoring >70 or 80 and scoring 99 so it all depends on person to person i.e varies.im just like u to take exam its just my pal's views and its great i felt.u can modify as u like.all the best for exam on nov 6th
