First of all forgive me if this is already answered, but I am not able to understand this point, Is there a limit to the number of LOR's that we allot to a program? 1. I mean can we allocate more LOR's to a program at a later date, after we have met their initial LOR requirements (which maybe 2/3 or 4). 2. Or is it possible for the letter to be upladed onto ERAS and then we can mail the program and allow them to download the LOR. 3. I am aware that we can track when a program downloads our applications. So is it possible for us to change the LOR's that have been initially allocated to a program, if the program had not yet downloaded our application. I am writing this aware of the fact that bbb had mentioned that they have a filter to see the new uploaded documnets for an applicant, but they would be able to see these documents only if we are able to allot that document to that program. So if we have reached the limit of that program, what can be done?

I think the limit is 4 per program, that's what you can choose in ERAS. Some people bring extra LORs for the iv and ask for them to be attached to their file.

Thanks Arlete for the answer. Not the answer that I was hoping for against hope!

1. You can always allocate a new letter to a program, if this will not exceed the number of LORs allowed for transmission (4) 2. You do not need to call program. If you assign a new document (again, within the allowed limit), the program will be notified by ERAS regarding the new doc available to download 3. If the program did not download your stuff (which usually happens within 24-72 hr anyway) you can de-assign a doc and assign a new one... If the download occurred, you are prohibited to do that.
