I think you are pretty much suffering from : BAD HABITS!!! Do a plan and stick to it! You know more or less how much you can study in a day, so plan accordingly and stick to the plan, if you don't study that day, well, tough luck keep going!!! That'll make you study hard the next day, knowing that you already blew up ONE WHOLE DAY OF STUDYING!! Which, is a lot... Think not only of the time you are not studying, but all the other wonderful things you could be doing instead of thinking about how to study... I'll tell you how: JUST STUDY!!! And take the exam, that'll be your best Treatment, you are like a pregnant girl with eclampsia that needs to get that placenta exam taken out of your system, that will be your only cure! And, you will never feel prepared enough! I guarantee you that, ask anybody!! The material to cover is immense, it's ridiculous to pretend to know everything. As fast and good as you are, let's say you are so familiar with the books and have studied them so many times, that you can now go through a whole book in 2 or 3 days. There are 5 books, by the time you are done with the last one, 10-15 days have passed, that's over two weeks of not studying one subject, don't you think you will have fogotten something by then!? So, take a break, tomorrow make a good plan on what you really can achieve in the morngin and then go fishing , stop somatizing your fears, and the day after tomorrow start studying again. don't think about it, do it, and then take the exam and get it over with... I just spared you 200$ fro a psychiastrist consultation... I can give you my paypal account though!! Good luck!

Thanks for the support hcm11 . My problem is that I'm a damn good planner and with aggressive attitude to score high in the exam, my friends think that i have a legendary stamina, and yes i do if i succeed to set down and study. The problem is i feel very anxious when i open the book, i tried to study random topics, tried Red Bull..It just won't happen...it's like repletion between me and the book. Very strange.. I tried home, Library, work...it's ridiculous...i can hardly finish one page without being moving or eating or thinking about the future..

A friend of mine had the same thing. She was prescribed propranolol and it helped. BUT: Besides medication there will be no other way, than to dedicate yourself to studying! Don“t think about how you could do it. Go ahead and start! Have your goal in mind, tell yourself you can only conquer this by studying. Studying and giving it your all is the only way to control the situation and reduce anxiety. By the way, I would avoid RedBull, coffee and such. Try relaxing teas or meditating or a phone call to a good friend who takes your mind off of studying for half an hour. Go for a walk, dance like crazy to your favourite song alone in your room. Get some of that blocking, paralyzing energy out by screaming into a pillow. No joke, it does miracles! Good luck!
