For bbb

I have a questioon for you if I can get any help from your side.

I just wanted to know do the program consider the medical school performance of the students? do programs review the medical school awards portion the application form.

what advantages or positive points would be considered in the student
like if student is amogn top three in class or having gold medals and so on

so just wanted to know what performances are taken into considerations and all

Medical school performance is looked at for failures and repeat of courses mostly. At least that's what my PD reviews. US Schools don't do the gold medal thing. While it's good if you do have it, it's not going to hurt you if you don't.

In my transcript I have a repeat of 15 days internship in one of the internship rotations. but that was because I took leave for my personal issues during that term. I can explain it in interview, but how would it be justified before that?

Dear BBB, do you think program check transcript for such things before calling for interview? what can I do to prevent the damage from this?

Thanks.

No, I don't look at transcripts hardly at all. I know the PD just before the interview.
