After a lot of confusion I called ECFMG and they said that board certification does not include the certification of registration by state medical council which we undergo in India after graduation(they themselves were not sure though)--- so I think I will answer No for Board Certification.If anybody disagrees please let us discuss it here......

For those of you who like me have only 1 PS please dont forget to selct that PS while selecting your program applications since the selection box is on the right (unlike the usual left sided selection box) and I had forgotten to do the selection the first time....so please I know this is stupid ......

Hi wtmb,
what selection box do you mean?
I have 2 PS and if I click on a program they appear on the left lower corner.
Can you clear that up? Thankssmiling face

From my understanding, board certification is always in a certain field, not the general license to practice as an MD.

Thanks Arlete though the ECFMG representatives themselves were not sure of it.

AnneGermany- Well this is how it shows ( in the programs section when selecting the programs and attaching the required documents):

Personal Statements(select one):

****Name of the personal statement ****** Then to the left is the circle in which you put the dot
