hey all i wanna know i can have any of these stuff (clerkship , away rotations, researches, USCE) in US if i am Iranian? is there any special requirement needed? what about my visa? would they give me?
i really think that because I'm Iranian there is no chance of getting any good recommendation or any thing that increase my chance of getting residency admission there is another question too: if i do any of these electives in other countries or foe example in DUBAI ,i wont count? should it be only US? sorry if it is a real silly question but if someone answer it or give me advise on how to do them i really appreciate

i have the same problem my friend, i'm syrian, and politics doesn't really help getting visas for electives, residencies, or even for the CS, but i have a syrian-palastenian friend in the US doing rheumatology fellowship, he told me that if i pass step1 and the CK, i can apply for an elective at the same time with the CS, this will increase my chances in getting a visa "b1/b2" i guess... sorry ... but those are all guesses and nothing is for sure..
