i started studying for step 1 about a month back, started with physio, would like to know if kaplan is enough or shud i refer to guyton, ganong or any other text or review book, would b really grateful for ne piece of advice ...thx

i think kaplan is enough- with questions from usmle world

if you're understanding everything out of kaplan, then yeah it's enough. but if you think you're missing something or it's not clear, then no harm checking it out in ganong (guyton is a bit lengthy and you might end up getting lost in it esp. since the focus is on quickly grasping concepts and moving on to the next thing). gl

yes kaplan is more than enough....just make sure u get the concepts well..and add it with uw...enough...

I'll suggest Ganong instead of guyton for a reference.try to see this textbook (pathophysiology of disease LANGE).if you got all the information in it you will be confident in usmle as I think and that's what I'm doing right now.this is my opinion.regards
