72 year old man brought to the operating room for an elective repair of abodominal aortic aneurysm , the aneurysm has been followed for 3 years and grew 1 cm over the past year to 5.8 cm , the operation was not complicated and the patien extubated and brought to surgical ICU , he remained hemodynamically stable his lower extremities are warm and well perfused. post op day one his creatinine increased from 1.1 to 1.3 mg/dl , urine out put is 40 ml/hr , on post op day 2 he complained of abdominal pain and has an episode of bloody diarreha , CBC showed Hb to decrease from 10 to 9 mg/dl and his WBC increased from 12,000 to 15,000 . what is the next step in management? A.CT scan of abdomen and pelvis B.repeat labs in 6-8 weeks C.send for clostridium difficle toxin assey start oral flagyl D.transfuse 2 units of whole blood E.urgent colonoscopy PLEASE WHEN YOU ANSWER EXPLAIN WHY YOU CHOSE YOUR ANSWER, thank you in advance.

A.CT scan of abdomen and pelvis the most important DD is ischemic colitis and the first best next step is Abdominal CT scan
