Dear Friends, I got my score 97/228 yesterday. believe me, This dragon is not that hard to fallnodIt is most like step2 except for its ccs cases which all it needs is standard of care. Whatever happens to the patient doesn't matter, you should just follow the standard of care... I also want to thank arlete because she was always a source of inspiration for me and her posts were always right. All the questions are welcomed.

Hope you all best of luck in the match and I believe whoever helps people, will get whatever he/she wants like arlete.

Dear Friends,

I took step2 on jan, 2008 and got 99/247. I used Kaplan notes, FA, UW question bank and UW cases. I also practiced a lot with the computer software for ccs till I was completely on the top of it. I got very good range on ccs cases that I just didn't have a star although I had a very bad feeling while I was coming out of the exam in the second day. I took step3 on July 30,31 and after 3 weeks I got the score one Wednesday morning!!!!grin. The ethical questions were very challenging since I haven't practice in US and sometimes they seem like real life scenarios that you can't find their answers in any book!!. Overall, as arlete said, this exam is durable if you are well prepared. Don't underestimate or overestimate it. It is the best idea if you take the exam 4-5 months after your step2 since you have time to prepare yourself for step3 and you step2 exam is not very far and you still remember the material.

Best of Luck for everybody.

Hi again
sorry for the late response. I was busy with the applications. I took nbme and I got 520 one week before the exam. I don't know how you can get the answers to the questions but I don't think that might be helpful because you might not see those questions in the real exam. The best thing to do is to read the UW question bank twice and also the UW ccs cases twice and practicing alot with the computer software. That's how I did it and it served me well.

Good luck to all..
