after correctly determing that abuse is sure then only start to counsel,coz it could be a meaningless exercise.
my way is to tell that from the history i infered that the relation with you husband is something to be concerned about.in capacity of your physician i need you to know that there are social services available to assess your situation and there after help you accordingly,also if you think your childern are being abuse,we can involve child protective services.i will bring back some contact info and telephone numbers where you can contact in case of emergency or if just want someone to talk to, is that ok with you?

i,ll try to do everything possible for your safety .you will not be forced to do anything against your will .your medical records will be kept confidential and will only be released to some other source with your sign consent however it,s my sincere advice to you to get away from abuser because abuse almost always increase in frequency and severity with time..are your children safe at home? if not say dont worry we,llcall child protection services they,ll be completly safe.before leaving don,t forget to ask 2 questions
