But you have to realize that if you aren't comfortable speaking the language, how are you going to communicate with patients who are sick, scared and don't understand you. Think of it in reverse - how would you like it if I was practicing medicine in your country, received your mom as a patient, and couldn't understand or talk with her? Make her understand me? Sorry, but if I am in a hospital bed with an intern at my side and they are trying to tell me bad news, I want and need to understand it. We won't invite you based on language, but your language skills will be talked about and we have not ranked persons because their language was awful - even though their scores were excellent.
