HI ALL
confused I'm a IMG.
graduated 6 years ago .
3 years for intern .
3 years for training internal medicine residency in my country.
I want to train IM residency in US .
I have questions

1.Is it consider as 5 years cut-off date in many programs?

2.Training internal medicine residency in my country. Is it a drawback?

1. If you graduated 6 years ago and the cut off is 5, then you already know the answer to that question.

2. No. It's a good thing.

In regards to your first question, you will need to determine if your application is strong enough to overcome the time since graduation - it's all your decision.
