needless to say i am distraught-i followed every clause as far as washing my hands, draping the patient, knocking before entering, used my mnemonic sheet on pam hugs foss, and liqor AAA to NOT miss any questions...was courteous with all my pts, though a few had an attitude-which i think is not needed given we have the stress of this big exam to begin with-in reality, ppl aren't that nasty unless provoked, so this is pointless...however, i studied 3 weeks, practiced with 2 partners and watched the videos twice! i was forewarned NOT to take this in Chicago-I am just stunned that i didn't make the pass when i saw my score sheet, supposedly, i had a stunning patient note but my data gathering was on the border, just one X mark away from passing! i am appealing but with that, really, come on no one reviews the videos, nor the notes, so what's the point? i am just so jaded with this exam and i have my CK around the bend...any suggestions? i am just so depressed coz it's not like CS is a cheap exam-and things are rough financially you know?! thanks!

Hi. I completely understand what you are going through. I failed the CIS part of CS and was devastated as I had done everything imaginably possible. I too had the CK just around the corner when I got my result. I gave it and aced it. Now am retaking the CS day after. Don't lose hope ! Its only an exam and I know it costs a lot, but there isn't much of a choice but to take it again. For the time being, concentrate on studying for the CK. That's what's most important now. After all, you don't want to mess that one up. "Chin up" Its big picture time ! You can analyze and over-analyze the CS once you're done with CK. All the best to you. I'm sure you'll do just fine.

i also extend all my condolences for this happening,it can happen to anyone, even to one like you, you appear confident in your manners and awfully good in english so something slightly went wrong is what i feel but need few more details in order to figure it out exactly, the analysis would be good for you as well, as you have to gear up to crack it anyway so.......go thru the tragic memories again and help us with few more details, a critical one would help more rather than defensive.

Sorry about what happened. I'm waiting now for my score and I think I did well enough to pass, but reading your post makes me think twice about how I did.
