So one will take Mefloquine only once a week... whilst other preventive drugs are taken daily. This is due to... yep you guessed it..the good old entero-hepatic recirculation.
Major side effect is PSYCHOSIS.
Also recently it has been blamed for "Gulf War Syndrome"... no proof been found yet though.
Wheew...got it out of my chest in breath. :-)
