I like mopping floors and doing anything with water/cleaning products that smell good. Dusting, making the beds... now that's a nightmare! And ironing! And cooking! But I love a clean house, oh, how I do!...

Today I received my last LoR. Will send it out today, with receipt return request this time
Hopefully it gets uploaded on time.
How about your documents adr, sackatdoc, vergache, ganesha123, arlete? Any news?

I am waiting for one from Brazil that was sent 6 days ago and another was sent 5 days ago from USA. There's one more being writen. I have three letters in the ERAS post office, only one was upload, which is OK with me. I trust the USPS a lot, I think it's very rare for a letter to get lost.
Anyway... what if we reach September 2 and the letters are not there? Do we postpone the application?

I personally would.
I´d rather have a "delayed" application than one that is "incomplete". Well, I guess everybody is different.
From what I heard, program directors do not start downloading the applications before mid-end September.
Could be one of those crazy rumours though

Just sent my last LoR out. It was 19 (!!!!) Dollars for a delivery by tomorrow afternoon. Unbelievable!

i think most programs start downloading only after mid september.. i am sure our documents sent now will be in the post office before that for sure.....

My LOR has reached on 12th (updated on OASIS)... and current scanning date is 7th august...

Hey.
I'm in a similiar boat, i sent like 6 LORS thru united states postal service without tracking (i assumed it wud be safe) on 1st aug and as of today it still hasnt reached. I'm Holding out for another week before i go crazy tho, theres gotta be an explaination.........

hi guys!!!my 4th & last LOR was sent2 days ago(August 14) by regular mail via USPS so il be expecting it by tues at ECFMG PO BOX& hopefully be uploaded by August 22 as received via oasis..but i will give them 2 weeks to do everything days before applying to programsmy problem is I will be working Aug 30,31 Sept 1st&2nd..i would have somebody work for me on Sept 2nd or work night on Sept 2nd or not work on Sept 2..what do you think guys?

I think if you apply any day in the first two weeks of September, you're safe. This is not a race.

So its the 16th day since sending my LORs and I'm starting to worry here.
I wanted to run something by you guys and ask if it would be feasible (since me going back to my home country and getting them again wud be impossible at this point..NOTE always make two LORS!)
Before i sent them in to ERAs i had scanned my documents. If i were to sending in a printed scan would it be acceptable to Eras? Since the sign on my LORS has already taken place and the words have been put by the writer itself ? desperate thinking here....advice??

i do not think it would be valid to send scanned LORs
give it more time - it cant get lost

Well, I would call ECFMG on this. After all, I think, that a scanned LoR is better than NO LoR.
They would mark your LoR as "not an original" I think....

This morning, documents from 08/08 were being uploaded, and now they started to work on 08/11 already! I am impressed and very optimistic now!

Yep, awesome! My letters are actually uploaded in the Post office. And that all after the scare in the beinning.
There´s really a good chance that they´re backed up by a week

My small rant for today...
According to FedEx my LOR was received by ECFMG on August 12th but it still has not shown up even on the verify receipt of documents site. Wrote to ERAS support and they promptly replied that they're backed up these days. Told me to wait for 3-5 more days then resend the LOR using the same courier if I'm still worried. 
I'm keeping my faith in FedEx though, hopefully it will appear in OASIS soon
