1. solving USMLE world throughly and grasping the explanation holds the key for getting a 90+ in step1?
2. USMLE world is more important than reading Kaplan repetitively?
3. how to get the max out of USMLE world?
4. USMLE world is much better than kaplan Q-bank?
5. questions in USMLE world at at power with the actual test, infact slightly tough?

below is my personal opinion. talk to many before you decide!
1. solving USMLE world throughly and grasping the explanation holds the key for getting a 90+ in step1? NO UW is good but for step 1 i think First aid + Kaplan is the key.
2. USMLE world is more important than reading Kaplan repetitively? No solving questions is important but you can rely on UW to impart you the required knowledge
3. how to get the max out of USMLE world? Solve after reading the topic from Kaplan. Do timed tests always. Make notes while reading explanation and revise them before exam.
4. USMLE world is much better than kaplan Q-bank? The general opinion is that UW is slightly better than Kaplan and cheaper. I didnt join Kaplan so I dont know for sure.
5. questions in USMLE world is at power with the actual test, infact slightly tough? I felt the questions were slightly more difficult than real exam. The nature of questions resembles the real ones partly. But there are many things that are not covered. Many questions are such that you will never get in the real exam.

Well said moto , by the way what is all about that blog, seems big , am abit lost in there, is that the ped only or all medicine .

So after each topic read mean , after sytem wise of all subj or after each subj reading re doing UW .
I ddi kaplan on line old & new [ excellent with rekap .. short summary , but too bad not every qs in this yr early, not sure now rekapin every qs or not ] too , but not much re UW since not doing [ will b online ] yet , but kap also had lots that not in kap LN or even center dvd .
So lots to learn from that from kap old or new qs .
re UW , am not doing it yet so not much idea , but heard it have explain very detail & well , but my point of view from some uw that I run into has too long explaination , so will sure take lots of time to do each Q .
Also same explaination as detail as other qs , though abit different version of q & answer that I will skip raeding that too detail explaination when I did online UW to safe time .
Also some one told me actually more than one good heart like moto told me their version of How to do UW .. so
Do at 1st read , after read or side by side q than read or after all read , but anya wya u did did it well & get notes as moto said .
Try ur , others' version , u will know which work best for you since we all are different, unique  so , at laest by tiem u know ur way u will alraedy do uw all once or more so that the benefit .. like some said take note then several way after taht at least u read mor ethan once by time u found ur way of study .
So try own way 1st then modified it or change it if not work for u
