I have heard that there is a mechanism that prevents from seeing the photo until applicant is invited for interview... I could be wrong though...
I used a spouse-made photo, and will be taking one tomorrow for my wife... Just have a nice dress (not peignoir  ) and light not busy background...

Justice, do you and your wife both write under this nickname? I don't know why I was under the impression you were a female... Sorry... 
Anne: mine was "professional", meaning WalGreens passport picture. No picture express my real beauty (and modesty and delusional state!), anyway, so I didn't think a lot about it... or spent a lot. 
I am so sick and tired of putting the hand in my pocket every time I mention USMLE, match, or residency...!!!

Yes, it is hard to put a woman´s entire beauty and gorgeousness  in a Walgreens passport picture!
But I´m sure this is okay. My husband was taking pics of me the other day, but the flash just put a big shadow behind my head so I look like a member of the coneheads
So, maybe WalGreens is the better choice
And Justice, I heard about the photo blocking mechanism too

Hi,
just submitted my photo to ERAS online.
Had to use a resizing online program (was for free) but it worked out pretty well.
It just shows my face. How did you guys go about this?

Arlete, there is nothing to be sorry about, really, unless you are disappointed with my "inconsistency"...

WOW, ERAS is amaizing...I uploaded my digital photo yesterday at 9:00pm and today, it already appears in OASIS/ERAS SERVICES and in the ERAS post-office (less than 8 hours wow). They are great!!!

hey guys for those of you who have submitted a stupidlookinh print picture by mail initially like me and now regret it,you can still submit a digital one nad it will overide the print picture.Confirmed with ERAS
