I really can't stand the text method/slang I see when people write questions. For instance:
Dis sntce ez hard 2 red. (This sentence is hard to read) While I am far from being a paragon of grammar and spelling I really wonder if someone expends more energy trying to look cool while writing in this manner? It really makes my eyeballs itch when someone writes a question, desperately wants an answer, but I can't comprehend what they are asking.
I use this weird shorthand only when trying to save space on my cell phone but I can't understand why someone would write this way online. And though it may label me as a snob I find it very hard to hold back judgement of the person's intelligence when it appears they have the grammar skills of the second grader. Ok, glad I got that off my chest!
