Hi,

I have finalized a LOR but have not sent it to ECFMG yet. But looking at ADTS, it shows that this letter has been downloaded by designated dean's office. what does it mean? Is it usual?

thanks

OK, here I am to clarify this issue so everyone has clear understanding of that:

We know that all LORs are to be finalized so the record would officially exist and enable /ADTS to process documents in the most official way.

Indeed, ADTS clearly say: "...Note: LoR requests that are not finalized will not be displayed...".

Just above that statement anyone who finalized LORs would see the following in columns:

LoR Requests (Finalized):
LoR Author Name LoR Finalize Date Downloaded by Designated Dean's Office

But, there is another place, again, just above this, saying: "...Documents that are in the PostOffice:..." where they list everyhting that was sent to ECFMG/ERAS, scanned and sent to the post office... Right now I personally have:
MSPE
ECFMG Status Report
LoR 2
LoR 3
LoR 4
LoR 5
LoR 7
LoR 8
Photo
Transcript

I know that I haven't sent yet LOR #1 and #6, so they are not seen here, although the records are finalized...

Hope what I wrote is clear...
