Dear applicants! I am not affiliated with either site, I am just posting my experience. Nothing really connects me to them except for the money I spent on both. I have both Matcharesident for Peds and Residencyplace for IM and FM. Both companies are quite reliable, data on programs is approximately correct, but I would go with Residencyplace since format and info is much easier to use. On the other hand ResidencyPlace has few bugs, especially their Scramble service which is not worth a penny. Matcharesident requires you to go to Freida to confirm a program. 25% of the time their req's wouldn't agree with program, this is also true about Residency place, but level of "disagreement" was slightly lower. Prices are almost identical - about $70 per discipline after coupons. Matcharesident is a real hassle to use when it comes to changing or tweeking your requirements, like USCE, visa, etc. They agreed to make a change from their end, whereas Residencyplace allows you to do it on the fly. Anyhow, lists are very helpful and somewhat worth their inflated price. Since I am buyng a good used car for ERAS during this Match, I may have saved few bucks using these, but don't be misled - without homework those lists are practically worthless. Good luck, everyone! When I buy one of these lists, i'd prefer the list to have all the programs that fit me, even if they have quite a few that dont.. I wouldnt wanna miss out on a potentially good residency spot.. You know in terms of statistics, I'd rather have 100% sensitivity even if the specifity drops to 70-80%.. Which one of the two do you think fares better on that front?

dimasin, I wanted to explore features of residencyplace, and they ask Max.attempts on Step:? What is this about? Which step? Can you clarify please? Thanks

Residency place gives far more results than i got on match a resident, it shows me 171 and 308 origrams in GS and IM where i can apply while MaR shows 120 and 255 approx! why so much a diff, when the process is supposed to be much similar?

Well, this may mean that criteria that you set up work better in MAR than in RP... If anything isn't simply missed...

Thanks>> Guys, you can go to either site and compare what criteria are listed. I am sure that's an easy task. It's true that residencyplace lists are longer, but matcharesident lists are not accurate either. IF YOU WANT SOMETHING DONE - DO IT YOURSELF! If I were young and sleepless, I would spent 2 days online with the same result. You have to do your homework, don't trust those lists! Take care!
