what do you mean by saying "...we can get uploaded..."? This will not occur until Sep 1, 2008. The best way to measure your success (in this regard) is to look at ADTS,-if the LOR #x or any other doc (MSPE, Transcript) is received by ERAS post office, you are fine...

I think this year either document scanning is faster than last year or less people is applying.

Ok, now I'm not too sure how this works.. I finalised my LoRs before I sent them to ECFMG. ECFMG hasnt yet received my LoRs and other documents but ADTS does show a list of all the LoRs that i finalised including the ones that have already been uploaded (which show up on oasis) and the ones that havent even reached them yet.. So, whats the deal with checking ADTS? raised eyebrow

Are you saying that one is fine if the LoRs (and other documents) show up both on OASIS and on ADTS? which means that not just the LoR has been uploaded it's ready to be attached to your application for transmission (after sep 2 ofc)... (oh yea, I think this is what it is.. figured it out while i typed this, but i'll post this anywaywink ) Correct me if I am wrong.

I think what they want when they state "4 weeks" means "don't get a PUD and panic atack and don't start calling us in despair before 4 weeks". But their intention is to be much more efficient than that (which, so far, they are!). nod

You have to finalize your LoRs so you can see them in ADTS. It's easy, you just have to go to My ERAS-documents-LoRs, then there's a button, click on it and you can start finalizing them. To finalize the LoR at ERAS you just have to give the name and title/department of the Doctor who wrote you the LoR, then specify which specialty you want the LoR to be assigned to, just as you did on the coversheets when you sent your LoRs.

The USMLE transcripts will be payed, and therefore, will be shown in ADTS and available to programs when you start applying to programs on Sep 2nd, the cost will be added to the invoice you will get when you had applied to the programs on Sept 2nd. I hope I'm right.

Wow! My 4 Lors, transcript, photo.....are all scanned and in my eras post office!
It think it took them an average of 2 days after receiveing the documents to scan them...much faster than I had expected!

Now all I have to do is take my CK on 30th of September and I'll be totally done (if all goes well that is...)
