Tashidondrup wrote: Hey guys i really need help here I just finished NBME Form 1 and i got 63% In the past i paid for the same form and i got 58.5% of correct answers for a 330 score predicting 172 in the 3 digit score and finally getting 171 in the real thing. So i would love to know if 63% is enough? Ill pay UW tomorrow just for getting score and the last revision. Exam is in 5 weeks. Rough has been score x 3 but 58.5% ( if thats really accurate ) is a 175 so 3 points is the diff from 172 if 63% x 3 that = 189 and 189-3 is 186 185 is passing I would say no its not enough, another way to put it, to just pass is roughly 65% right on the real thing, so 65% x 3 = 195 -3 = 192 enough of a margin to pass I think. Really you should go for an over all of 68 to 75% on the downloaded to think your passing then for better scores in the 80's Just my take on it.

kingsof2005 wrote: whoops here LOL ok like I said the calculations were close and if you look 390 is a 190 so I keep saying 400 or better and I stick to that, at 400 you should pass. Doing the Calculations it seems its best to subtract 5 points so a 65x3= 195 - 5 = 190 like on the chart 74 x 3= 222- 5 is 217 but the chart says 211 so........ Use the chart its more accurate it seems.

Thanks man already took the decision since it is my second time taking this, even im bored of step 1 (i loved step 2 prep) i only can go if im sure i will pass. And i guess the only way of being somewhat sure you will pass is with 400 or above. I will take NBME form 2 and 3 and the assessment test from UW in 2 weeks, if im not there, i will change the date and study harder. Thanks for all the help.

Hello i just finished NBME Form 2 and i got 63.5% equivalent to 370 3 digit score. before my the real exam last year i got 54%. Is this almost 10 % increase good to say im getting better or maybe that 54% doesnt mean anything. I mean in the real test i got 171 very similar to what Form 1 predicted. Is Form 2 harder or different?

Now i just finished NBME form 3 But i changed the approach to the test, every single question i said to myself pick the obvious answer this test is not tricky and i got 69% - 420 - 198 Can it be the approach or NBME form 3 is easier?
