A 60 year old male with spinal stiffness and limited cervical range of motion. He has a prior history of uveitis requiring steroids. CBC and ESR are normal. Lumbosacral X-ray shows fused SI joints and syndesmophytes.what else we may find in this patient ? a. bilateral inspiratory rates b. diastolic murmur c. digital clubbing d. temporal artery and scalp tenderness e. temporal mandibular joint tenderness

GG Ankylosing spondylitis is also associated with aortic insufficency in almost 8% of the cases. answer b.

I just want to add a little: "10% experienced inflammation of the jaw. This can be particularly debilitating causing difficulty in fully opening the mouth to eat"
