Hi everyone. Just wondering if young male doctors are getting 3 or 6 months entry on Visit visa nowadays ?? I am planning to go to US this month and do some observership/volunteer work while the residency process is going on, take step 3 in November and then if I get Interview calls, attend those and come back in end of Jan. Just wondering if I should go now or should I go in October so that incase I get a 3 month entry, I don't end up missing my IV calls. Any suggestions would be highly appreciated. Thanx.

well iguesss not to wrry about this issue much as some of my friends who got 2 months /3 months single entry visa were able to get thru easily... ill tell u how... the moment u land in US at the port of entry when u have the visa checking u need to tell them that u have to complete ur cs and ur step 3 and along with that u ve some observerships or some externships... even if u show some document containing any of these obs or ext. they ll give u 6 months entry for sure... and i can tell u for sure that they will give u 6 months easily..
