HI!
Just wanted to ask if anybody has any knowledge or experience of rechecking CS result? Just got my result n failed CIS,half on borderline and half below! Was just wondering if anybody can tell if rechecking can be of any use?
And 2nd,iF u apply for re-check n ur recheck is still in process,can u apply for the exam again in the meanwhile?
Would be a big help if anybody can help explain these things....bye!

I recall only one episode of the failure score re-check by somebody on this forum. It cost $50 (well, used to cost, don't know what they ask for right now). The guy spent several weeks in waiting and got a reply on a simple piece of paper (according to him, it wasn't even ECFMG letterhead), which clarified that the scoring system is very precise and whatever the results is, that's the true results. They did re-check his notes/other audio/video records, but did not change the score... So, he lost money+time+hope...
I would humbly recommend to re-apply as soon as possible and try to re-take the test as soon as possible... Do not put any weight on the re-check...

yes, score check will only give false hopes and waste your time.. not to mention the sleepless nights till they check it out..
don't think they change the scores. never heard of one.
