Hello all,
I was just trying to gather information about the residency programs,but many of them ask for the Deans letter .I am already struggling with my credential verification,my university is not at all being helpful in this matter I dont think I will be able to get a Deans letter.from them.
I f I apply to programs requiring Deans letter without providing them with one will it affect my interview chances?
Any one please clear my doubt.

ECFMG will place a neutral letter in place of Dean's letter/MSPE. So, your application will be complete. As far as whether it will affect the no of IV calls you get, that's dificult to predict, as it wil depend on each prog. They will miss out on gaining some info about your med sch performance, but they don't put so much importance on an IMG's Dean's letter.
You must indicate in your CAF that you will NOT be able to provide a Dean's letter.
