Hello there I'm a silent observer to this forum for a long time.I thanks to all for guiding people like me.I'm applying this year internal medicine residency program. I want your help and suggestions for this I did my graduation in 2003 june.My first question will i consided in programs which are looking for graduations within 5 years catacory? My marks are 89 and 92 but i have an attempt in my step 2, it's a big worry to me, i think all most all programs requires more than 80 or 85 in their first attempts, is there any benefit applying to programs which are mentioning that they need first attempt people. please help me I would be happy work with some one with same situation (I need visa also) Raj

thanks innocentdevil I don't fully understand your opinion. Do you think it's a good idea to apply to programs which have a requirement of 5 year graduation barrier and first attempt requirment. please clarify once again

Do not apply in such programs mentioning FIRST ATTEMPT, they will filter your application and you will lose your money.
