Does the term(years) indicate the number of year from graduation?

No, the term means a number of credit hours per this number of years after graduation. So, if you graduated 4 years ago, you multiply number of hours by 2 (4/2)...

I personally don't believe that that's the issue... If not all programs (even in IL, which triggered this discussion) talk about that, this is not mandatory...

i graduated in 2005 justice can you tell me how many hours would i need ! this maths is freaking me out already !

Inkspot, I really don't know... In 2009 it will be 4 years, so 150x2=300 credit hours you may need to have to satisfy IL state requirements... But I don't believe that this requirement is mandatory... I will try to clarify it with some PDs I know well...

It would be nice if somebody who's already a resident answered this question. I know CMEs are required to renew an existing license, but I don't know if they are necessary for the residency temporary license. They are one of the criteria for proof of professional capacity, which every person who graduated more than 2 years ago need to get a license in IL.

I'm waiting for an answer, too.
