I graduated in 2004 but my degree was issued in 2005.When i was registering with my ERAs I put the year as 2004 and got my AAMC Id.but later realized that i should have put the 2005 instead.

What do i do now?

Jole I had the same problem as you. While registering too I did the same hnig as you. Then I contacted ECFMG and they said I should use the degree issue year for CAF even if I used the graduation year for the registration. Please call up ECFMg and see what they say. Also if you could inform me what they say I will be highly oblidged.

Got an email form them today and they said the error cannot be changed but i should put the correct date on the CAF;And that I should make mention of it in my personal statement if i like.

Thanks Jole.Guess we are both in the same boat.

So we:

Put the degree certificate date as the degree date on our CAF.

Mention our actual graduation year and our degree certificate date in personal ststement to make it clear.

Right?

Thanks and all the best!
