To those of you who have already contacted programs via email or phone,what do you primarily stress on - your interest in the program ,asking about program details or asking about thheir interest ina a candidate like you.Thamks in anticipation.

Right now I'm only interested in eligibility criteria and application requirements. These are the questions that I ask. I only contact programs if the information that I'm looking for isn't already on their website.
Some people might disagree but I'm against the idea of calling / emailing program coordinators or directors just to score points. I don't think that this strategy works.
