I read Pathology ,pages 211-217 )( very short since Pathology is part of systems now).
Anyways since I am reading Goljan too, here something to remember:
-Caspases ( cysteine proteases) initiate apoptosis
-apoptosis gene: BAX gene.
-LAD type 1 (Leukocyte adhesion deficiency) ---deficiency of CD 11a:CD18----delayed separation of umbilical cord >1 month.
-Epithelioid cells are activated macrophages by gamma interferon from CD4TH cells.
-Ehlers -Darlos Syndrome ---defects in type I and type III collagen
-Keloids---excess of type III collagen.

hi guys...target, and the rest who's doing kaplan qbank or uworld...do you make notes of your mistakes or you just go through (read) them? writing for me takes most of my time. i write pretty slow.. any advice?

Hi doctorjoy...Here I am, I guess Target is focusing in her last days before her exam...me,well I am in bed resting now  ( not much as I should but can not be around so much)...but here is my reading:
