jhmd great to hear from you! I am sorry u don t feel good - I have been there - hope you have someone to help you. Read in short periods like 25 min and then take a 5 -10 min break - dont strain yourself too much dear. If you need an afternoon nap - take it and then come back with zeal. Let us know so at least we can be of moral support. It is awesome you make progress despite your difficulties. I have been having some colicky pain in the abdomen last 3 days but trying not to think about it - probably due to adhesions - so nothing much can be done..so I just pray and move on thru the day. Hope it doesnt bother me during the exam day! Ferritin I love your tips........keep them coming ..........you are doing good. I did few pages of FA in biochem but felt that I had to read Kaplan before I glance thru FA - since it has been a long time since I did Biochem........or probably I am just getting older !!! See u tomorrow with good news!

Target I hope you feel better...I am almost the same but I am trying to do my best, today my husband take out my girl so I can rest and study better alone in home . Thanks for the moral support I really feel that I am not alone in my way to be an intern in 2010 ,but I have to admit that sometimes it is hard for me and feel that my study method is not good enough and time is coming and I will have to do it with a 2 y.old and and a new born...but anyways I will not complain more and I am here again. 1-FA edition 2008 2. Pages read: 421-431 (Renal ) 3. Extra points: Poor oxygenation of tubular epithelial cells...so HYPO oxigenation makes them more tendency to HYPOxia and HYPOtension ----Necrosis Tubular Aguda---Acute Renal Failure. 4. Mnemonic: For Renal Transplation use Left kidney with its Long Renal vein. Thanks target for the idea about this club ,it makes me feel more active and helps me a lot. I am praying for you and wish you a good score on your exam. See you tomorrow. Have a blessed weekend.

The pleasure is all mine - jhmd! I am glad at least some find this thread useful. I am still covering Kaplan so no time to do FA - will make up in the coming days. Are you reading Kaplan side by side with FA? Thanks for your prayers - I still have some pain - but in Him I trust - He will take me thru this exam! Keep striving for better.........when's yr EDD?

hello, since you guys are studying first aid, I would like to ask a question: First aid says the "rate limiting enzyme in gluconeogenesis" is pyruvate carboxylase, I read some other resource saying it is Fructose 1,6-Bisphosphatase. Besides, Fructose 1,6-Bisphosphatase is highly regulated by AMP, F-2,6-p. Regulation is one of the "rate limiting enzyme" features. Isn't first aid wrong? Thank you.
