Hi friends,
I got my score today ,its an 80
Iam not elated, neither Iam sad!
but feeling better to have seen an 80 in the score report, having 86 and 90 in my step 1 and 2 respectively!
Regarding my exam experience,
I prepared on and off for about 2.5 months,
I used Crush which I recommend highly,and UW for the MCQs and CCS cases
My Exam:
on Day 1 I felt I did a good job ,all varieties of questions were tested
On Day 2 I felt completely dissatisfied with MCQs as well as the CCS
On CCS I did not kill any of the patients but Iknow I ordered unnecessary tests which was all due to the tension I had regarding the exam!
even my score report showed a poor performance in the CCS cases
Reading all the UW CCS cases thoroughly and practising them on the USMLE CD would be more than enough
kaplan step 2 ck books would be a good supplement for the UW and crush
definitely step 3 is mangeable if you give it a sufficent time of about 2 months
but never underestimate it(again this is my opinion)
sleep well the night before the exam andmost important of all PRAY TO GOD!
Hope I get in to the residency of my choice!
