in your opinion ;

should i start with step one or step 2? step 2 is closer to my heart but some people told me that step 2 is dependent on step 1 .is it right?

is there any body start with step 2 and got high score; he face troubles by starting with step 2?

Hi there..I gave CK but havnt got my result yet.
I didnt take step-1 yet and I can say that CK is not dependant on step-1 at all

The ideal is to follow the normal sequence;step-1 then step-2...
But in reality,there is no big deal to start with any step in most of times.

I am doing step 2 first as I beieve clinical subject are fresher in my mind, and I work full time, so I don't ahev much time beside my work for studying. That was the reason why I started with this. For step 1 I will not be working I will have all days to study, next spring!
I have herad people doing great with step2 first, so just get the notes and material and study hard!

can i survive with out kaplan centers?or these centers are a must to attain high scores?

For sure you can ace the exam without Kaplan centre .I suppose for a fresh graduate with somehow good knowledge of medicine (basics) that many graduates have , the only thing that you need for CK is USLMEWORLD and KAPLAN LECTURES.However for other participants I don't think it suffices.Also you are a medical doctor and educated person , and ,medicine is by no means a sort of self study field , So if you think you are weak in some parts you can use textbooks or more concise review books.
