1. my uni wont give MPSE? so if i indicate NO in the CAF, will my chances of securing a residency suffer compared to if i had a MSPE? ================================ u can hav dean letter...wht ecfmg say abt it If you are unable to secure the MSPE from your medical school, you must indicate this on page 12 of your Common Application Form (CAF). A neutral placeholder letter will be provided in place of the MSPE. The placeholder letter will be provided to all of the programs to which you apply, and will state, “This is in lieu of an MSPE.” This will ensure that your application will appear as complete for those programs that require an MSPE before considering your application 2. what do i put in the education section in the CAF? as i did pre u and went into medical school straight after. do i leave it blank? yes 3. i passed ACLS in my home country. so can i click the YES in the CAF? yes

No big deal - we know that many overseas schools don't have MSPE. Use your deans letter. 2. Blank 3. Yes

well just got off talking to the deans office ppl. they are not willing to even give a dean s letter. nothing. only transcript. this sucks. so i m gonna leave the whole MPSE/ dean s letter empty now i think this will really hurt my residency. really upset. i rather have some piece of paper rather than NOthing!

Hi GriMMjow I am sorry I don't have many answers to your questions....since you are recently ECFMG certified I want to know how long it takes for the certification process. I have my scores ready. My documents are sent for verification to my Med School in India and should be returning soon. How long would it take after they reach ECFMG?? I am puzzled as I want to take step 3 soon. thanks for your attention. Plz reply
