Did you take the NBME and do better then 400?

This is essential in prep ( I have found out the hard way)

The NBME is the same people who write the USMLE questions and is a must to know how well you are prepared ( I made the mistake of not taking these before my last exam)

You should take one now and if you do not score at least 400 then you are probaly not ready for the real thing. This is no joke.

The importance of the NBME is not that it is easier than Kaplan (because it's not) but that it is a good litmus test for predicting your score on the Step.
