ok GOOD MORNING,
did 40 minutes already Q's on USMLE world, did fair!
Now going out to study at library and then more Q's today
I have spent a lot of time on the videos and want to spend some on Q's now
got to get the thinking going and what I need to know with the reading
One Professor on the Kaplan tapes said "I do not care if you get most wrong this gets you thinking!"
I need to get going my goal is better then 60% right by the end of this month, I think I can do that, just keep pushing!
Going for 7 hours today, yesterday was a 8 hour day for real! WOW ( this does not include breaks)

OK Yesterday, Well did manage 7.5 hours of study time
But life happens and had an argument with my 16 (17 in Sept) daughter who thinks she's an adult, she Disrespected me and I had it! For a month all I hear about is a car, she does not even have a lic and has a part time job and she was Telling me, not asking or discussing, that she is going to finance a 6k car off a Lot and that I or another relative will sign for it! When I told her that if I was not on the title then it would be difficult for me to "Add" the car to the insurance, she said "Thank You dad! " with her hand up in the air, she went on to tell me she knows how it all works she has friends.
OMG what a crappy night, I wanted to read a chapter of renal and that was shot!
Today, I hope to get that chapter and some Pharm in will let you know.
I'm finding FA thin now, thin on the information, I think FA is high yield review only but it does not teach all the stuff you need, like the Mechanism, you need this, you need to know how and why it works not just the what. ___________________ Knowledge should be shared not withheld.

Reviewed 5 pages of FA and did 25 Q UW and now have to take my Daughter to the Doctors then a little shopping and back here for rest of the day studying! Hope to get in about 5 to 6 hours worth!

next is some path.......gen for 2 hrs
then UW Q's 2 sets 61 and 64%

I think in a way science and medicine is the language of God, its so simple in its basic elements yet so
complex in its entirety.
I may not go to church as much as I like but I pray and God hears me.
But If I do not listen he may not listen?
I ask God to help me understand the Language better, I must however spend the time to listen as he
speaks through others as he has forever, his words and wisdom are there, listen.
I have to learn to understand the beautiful meaning of the language to care for all of Gods children.
We are all equal in his sight no matter, humble thyself physician.

My wife and I are having so many problems, she cannot understand why this test is so hard for me, she is frustrated and thinks I do not study, I do, I told her I did it wrong for the first two and now I'm listening and started all over to get this right.
I think if I fail this time I loose her too.

here is a source for the Kaplan 2007 videos, just about the whole course
Pass and question banks there too.
http://docs.torrents.ro you have to download utorrent and join Docs, this is free both, download the 23gb physio first and the path 10 gb path, then you will have enough credit to download anything thats not free.
You can with utorrent down load half the physio then the other half, when you start the download it asks you what parts, choose what you have space for then you can down load that ( write it down) put it on DVD's and then erase and download the rest.

Dear DFRP,
I understand all that you are going thru.........but you are such a strong willed person.........I know you are going to make it this time.........not just make it but make it with a "mark " that everyone is proud of you.
Just after cancelling the exam I am having so many 2nd thoughts whether I should take it especailly since I am sick with no energy to even get up from bed. I know it will pass and next week back to work dont know if I can study.....but seeing you I feel I cant give up .....not now!

Target, Get well and get strong, I would not take the exam unless well, its a tough exam, my best friend is helping me 3 days a week, quizzing me, he Got an 83 the first time, pretty good and he is great!
To everyone else thank you.
I just read a post that makes me think, if you find yourself "Barley passing" meaning you are at 75 or 76, so what? This is a tough test, not anyone can pass it, not monkeys picking random abcdefg so If you PASS you are awesome!
You are a Physician, Step two and Step three needed to be studied for but most will agree Step one is the hardest.
Just keep it real,
No matter the score you will get a residency if you want it, you will succeed
