Hello there, i recently started prep for Step 1 and have some confusion regarding which
Goljan book to read. I have Goljan's textbook with 2 volumes, but some people have advised me to avoid it and read Rapid Review instead, which I don't have. Now what to do? Any guidance is appreciated. thanks in advance!

yeah goljan's RR is more than enough , cummon its 600 pages book besides patho is not the only subject to take care of so i think it wud be better if u just stick with RR or u can buy BRS and match it with goljan lectures, coz i think even rr goljan is too much as it the book for both steps so if u read it fr step 1 u r already doing too much extra.

yes, RR is good book, if you listen his audio lecture, then read the book, and understand and learn the concept, it will help, and pathology is most important, so learn it better. and you can download the files starbite has uploaded, these are word for word lectures of Goljan, while you listen to his audio, you can look it up, if you missed anything, and emphasize several time on systemic pathology. all the best.

guys two queries.
there is a goljan RR 2nd edition with 596 pages, and there is 1st edition of RR with 338 pages. Seniors who scored 99 r saying to stick with its 1st edition and even goljan himself says in its PREFACE that this 2nd edition is lengthy and he does not explains any added benefit. any comments?
secondy are there any new audio lectures of glojan, if yes than how can be available.
