At which level of Rh antibody titers is RhoGam indicated? A. 1:1 B. 1:2 C. 1:4 D. 1:6 E. 1:8

Yes, thats right.... Kaplan says that fetal risk is present if titers are >1:8 However UW says RhoGam is indicated when the mom is sensitized with titers of >1:6 If Mom is sensitized with AB titers of > 1:6 RhoGam is useless; monitor Amniotic fluid Spectophotometry (not sure what exactly that entails).

According to UW: Ab titers are <1:6 ---> Mom is not sensitized and RhoGam is indicated Ab titers are >1:6 ---> RhoGam is USELESS because Mom is already sensitized According to Kap: Ab titers < 1:8 ---> NO fetal risk --> Manage conservatively (repeat titer monthly) Ab titers > 1:8 ---> FETAL RISK is present... These two explanations sound contradicting to me... Explanations anyone???

yeah this issue is very unclear... some even say 1:16!!!
