E. 1/8 according to kaplan

Yes, thats right.... Kaplan says that fetal risk is present if titers are >1:8
However UW says RhoGam is indicated when the mom is sensitized with titers of >1:6
If Mom is sensitized with AB titers of > 1:6 RhoGam is useless; monitor Amniotic fluid Spectophotometry (not sure what exactly that entails).

According to UW:
Ab titers are <1:6 ---> Mom is not sensitized and RhoGam is indicated
Ab titers are >1:6 ---> RhoGam is USELESS because Mom is already sensitized

According to Kap:
Ab titers < 1:8 ---> NO fetal risk --> Manage conservatively (repeat titer monthly)
Ab titers > 1:8 ---> FETAL RISK is present...

These two explanations sound contradicting to me...
confused

Explanations anyone???
