To those of us who are applying for J1 programs,in our future plans in personal statement should we talk about our plans of returning back to our country and working there? That is what I plan to do.Does anyone have any suggestions?

No, you do not need to say that.
In your PS you must convincingly demonstrate your reasons to like/prefer this particular specialty, why you believe you are ready for it, and why you should be selected.

Justice thanks .But I was going through the KAplan PS guide and they have mentioned that we should conclude with our future plans.

Hi friends, if I want to apply for an advance program and prelim, should I have different PS for each? I mean, should I write a PS for prelim convincing the PD that I am in love with IM ?!! Otherwise the PS for prelim would be ridiculous as we defend our choice of specialty X and then send it to get admitted to prelim IM . Please advise.
