Of course I did. And I did not smell any legitimacy or any authenticity. The site in general looks like a pop news site.
Read the last line: "A force spokesman said: 'It was 100 per cent legitimate, no hoax. It was a serious call from a member of the public." ... now doesnt that sound so silly and fishy? You would never read such a line in the Times Or BBC.
